HGV Driver Vacancies

We are always looking for experienced class 1 & 2 drivers to expand our team of professionals, please feel free to contact us on the above number to have an informal discussion.

 

We have a varied client base across Kent, Sussex and Surrey. Amongst them there are a wide range of opportunities to learn a new skill or if you just wish to continue with what you know we have the following assingments.

Removals

 

We are regularly asked for drivers with specific skills, some we can deal with some we can't, if you have a skill or have done something out of the ordinary then let us know, we may get asked for it at some stage. 

 

Recent Assignments 1

We have recently been asked to supply one of our clients with 10 class1 drivers for their tanker operation based in East Sussex after they had staffing issues.

 

Fortunately we had drivers who had been previously trained on their style of tanks, delivery and collection points, the rest had to be selected from our full time drivers for their ability to learn quickly on the job.

 

These drivers have been at the clients for the last 3 months and it is going to be at least another 3 months before they are going to be surplus to requirements. 

 

So far we have had nothing but compliments and praise for our drivers and the service they are giving to our client.

Recent Assignments 2

We have been asked to supply one of our clients with a combination of van and class2 drivers.

 

Their full time driver left the business 2 months ago and since then we have been asked to supply drivers on a daily basis. When we spoke to the buyer who explained that it was cheaper for them to use us rather than employing a full time driver.

 

As they only deliver their own products, if they have nothing to be delivered then their not paying for a driver to sit around twiddling their thumbs and being paid to do so.

 

It is working well for our drivers and for the client, it keeps our drivers busy and the client keeps his costs down.
